Dear FOBA;
The Faculty, Staff, and Students would like to formally say, "Thank You," for the Peaceful Playground Program.  We received the program a couple of weeks ago, and a private group was nice enough to donate their time to paint the program on our playground.  The entire process took about 6 hours to complete. 

The program was placed on the tennis courts last week.  Students were able to use them for the first time this week, and the early observation is that it is a huge success with the students!  Prior to having the program, students had nothing constructive to do outside.  Some played tag, but for the most part, the kids just stood around and talked to one another.  Students are now playing hopscotch, four square, basketball, and running relay races. 

The objective of the program was to increase physical activity, minimize altercations, and disagreements at recess time.  We believe that this objective will be obtained with the help of the newly adopted program.  Once again, thank you for your continual support.
